The Storm Within Her
Personal struggles and difficult seasons — eating disorders, body image challenges, grief, bullying, and emotional hardship. These are the battles that happen inside, often invisible to the world around her.
A founding-phase nonprofit
Hope after the storm.
After Her Storm is just beginning. We're building the lighthouse — a place where girls and families can find guidance, support, and hope after difficult seasons.
Personal struggles and difficult seasons — eating disorders, body image challenges, grief, bullying, and emotional hardship. These are the battles that happen inside, often invisible to the world around her.
Challenges involving home, family, friends, and close relationships — including foster-family dynamics and the weight of another person's trauma on those who love them.
Circumstances that happen to or around her that are entirely beyond her control — including sexual assault, exploitation, and other traumatic experiences she never asked for.
A girl doesn't have to face all three. But wherever her storm is, After Her Storm wants to help her find the light.
How We Serve
Connect girls and families with trusted people, resources, and organizations who can help.
Help people find their voice and navigate their options with confidence and clarity.
Provide encouragement, practical support, hope, and opportunities that open new doors.
Serve with compassion, faith, prayer, and love — meeting people where they are.
The Lighthouse
A lighthouse doesn't stop the storm. It helps someone find their way through it.
After Her Storm is envisioned as a bridge — not a counseling center. Our long-term vision is to become a trusted resource hub where a girl or family can come and say "I don't know what to do next" — and find their next step.
Phase One
After Her Storm is in its founding phase. Every contribution right now helps build the foundation — the branding, the first community project, the relationships, and eventually the nonprofit infrastructure.
Every dollar helps bring the lighthouse closer to reality.
After Her Storm is not yet a registered 501(c)(3). Contributions at this stage support founding and startup expenses.
After Her Storm began with a simple conviction: girls shouldn't have to navigate the hardest seasons alone.
We're in Phase One — listening, learning, and building carefully.
This is the beginning of the story.
